grather
So I was having an issue with my AVIC-Z1 in my 4Runr I have had the unit 5 years now. Just last week my CD quit reading disks of any type. So took it back to the local shop. Looks like I could send it back to Pioneer and get it fixed. But like a good salesman they showed me the AVIC-F120BT. So instead of sending it back for repait I have a new Headunit. But now I have an older AVIC-Z1 in the garage. Any idea what the resale value would be? Right now it is without a working Disc Reader? What about if I got it fixed? Any idea on resale value? Or even demand? Personally I would have had it repaired before buying one of the new non-hdd units(110,120 or 130).
corv78
I had the same problem with my CD drive in my Z1 not reading anything after 5 years. Sent it to United Radio in NY for repair ($196 flat rate). Awaiting it's repair right now. Their repair status page said: Replace weak optical pickup, Locate & repair connections in system control circuit, Clean eject mechanism. It's probably going to be finished today and shipped back. Shftn6
You could sell me anything extra you have besides the head unit. I need almost everything besides the wiring
jbell73
I resold mine for about $600 (after ebay/paypal fees). This was a Z1 upgraded to Z3.
