Wizzard005
Hey all, First off I have my avic-d2 installed with all of the features working, VSS and backupcam. Everything works, i get 4 /5 sats for signil strenth, but when driving its like 100feet off 500 - 1000 feet, like I will pass a street and on the navi 3 secs later it will pass that street. Its like its stuck behind just a little. LIke when i drive home, it says I have arrived, and my desitation is on the left, however my house is still like 500 feet down the road. Is there a way to better fine tune it? I had a handheld navi in my car is it was more correct them this one, meaning it will almost 99.8% dead on, if it said my house was to the left, if you look left there it was. The pioneer seems so off.... Any help would be great, i get it to find addresses, and if its 5 houses off or more its not a big help to me and i would rather my 1500 bucks back. penguin31
Mine behaved like this until the 3D Calibration reached '3D Hybrid' status. I believe if the sensor is still initializing, the Nav system is a little "jumpy" and less accurate. That was my experience... not sure if it's technically correct.
