nart
I finally narrowed it down to the headunit for the cause of this static and whine. It has become unbearable and I basically have the unit disconnected for a week. I want to get it fix, but knows Pioneer charges an arm and leg for the small fuse. Has anyone did the fix before? Most fixes I see online are for other models, and not the D3. I am afraid to take it apart without a detailed DIY. Also, the fuse looks so tiny, then I wouldn't know how to put another one..I read that a blob of solder lead can work too...but I do not want it to be a fire hazard. Ground loop isolators look expensive and I will need at least 3 of them. I might just ground the rca shields to the ground and hu. So anyone have any luck opening up the unit to fix the fuse?
