lilal
Hey Everyone, Hope the holidays has treated everyone very well. I have had an Avic D3 in my Nissan Titan since 2007, and it has worked beautifully until about two weeks ago. About two months ago one of my roomies took out the 2009 Nav disk to play a CD, and the Avic started having issues recognizing the "burned" disk. I would have to use the reset button. After a few resets, it would eventually read the Nav disk again. I just avoided using CD to bypass this problem. About two weeks ago, I started my truck, and the Avic wouldn't recognize my Sirius or BTB-200 units. It seems to recognize the units at random, and lose them again at random. I have removed the stereo, rechecked all voltages to Avic, Sirius, and BTB-200. I have also disassembled the Avic down to the bare bones, and reseated every ribbon cable/plug. I even checked both sides of both circuit boards for burnt/leaking problems. None were found. I contacted my local audio specialist, and conveniently, they have no way to "test" the Avic. They simply recommended buying another $1000 head unit. LMAO Can you guys help me out? I have read these forums, and it seems sending it to Pioneer with a check is about the only way to fix this problem. Right now, that's just simply not an option. Thanks in advance for your time and assistance with this matter. Al
