avicpilot Posted February 2, 2011 Report Share Posted February 2, 2011 Any Hacks/Mods out there to make the clock bigger on the F90BT? I know the general consensus is to make it go away altogether since most newer cars have a nice digital clock already installed. But I've recently installed the F90BT into a 2002 Tahoe LT, and the only clock was on the factory head-unit. My first thought is simply replacing the Source Icon with a larger active clock... pushing the clock will still perform the source function. Anyway... anyone have any ideas for making it a bit more noticeable? Quote Link to post Share on other sites
diaftia Posted February 4, 2011 Report Share Posted February 4, 2011 You can do one of two things: 1. Open up the zip file and edit the navigatemap_800_480.ui file. Find the line for the clock and make the fontsize= value larger. 2. Check out the completed mods section and see if one of the existing mods has what you need. In my mods for example it's a little larger. What I do have though is a custom "off screen" accessible via a quick menu that would allow you to bring up a screen with a really big clock and date.
