Zboy
I have purchased a MDX with an AVIC-Z3. One speaker is not working. In troubleshooting that issue, I removed the radio to check connections in the back and found the following and was wondering why the radio would have been installed/wired as such? Car has factory Bose amplifier and speakers. Z-3 unit speaker wires are connected to a converter to low-level signal, then low-level outputs are wired into the factory bose amps? I see no reason why I can't elimate the high to low level convertor and connect Bose factory amps into Z-3 low level outputs? Any opinoins on why I should/should not do this? Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!
