bigemike
I would like to add inputs for a ps2 / video game / dvd player to my f150, I know that htere are inputs on the back of the radio, but I would like to extend them to a panel that will allow easy access somewhere else in the truck. Does anyone have any ide of where to get such a piece.
va_connoisseur
Any old A/V cable will do. You can go the Monster Cable route, just make sure the cable is long enough to reach the area where the PS2 will be located
bigemike
I want to basically add a game port in the truck, not just run a cable. I wanted something mounted like this http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl ... er=205-054 but I saw one that was a little more compact somewhere here in a picture, and it didn't have a power plug either. Ultramax04
I don't know what model F150 you have, but I just installed a PS2 in my 04 F150 in the center console. The supplied rca cable with the PS2 is long enough to reach all the way to the back of my extended cab truck undereath the rear seat. I mounted my inverter underneath the passenger seat and hard wired it with a remote switch in the console to turn the inverter on. When I open the console I only see the PS2 no wires or anything bc I was able to route them out the bottom and used velcro to secure the PS2 in a verticle position. Hope this helps
tillithz
youll need an ac power plug, which means an inverter if you plan to use the ad power brick. so just the game plate wont be enough.
SuperH
I think he wants a port so he can unplug and plug in anything at will. I actually suggest making one. Find a spot with plastic knockouts, or make some sort of apparatus to do it. You basically need male RCA on one end, and female on the other.
