maxredline
I bought a car that has a F700BT installed and I am trying to set up my Samsugn SGH-A436. Both the Avic and Samsung have the Bluetooth features running. I have tried to register the Samsung in the 3 different ways the manual tells you to, search for device, select from a list (not on the list)and pairing. None of these methods work. The previous owner told me he had installed the latest firmware. I checked and this is whats on the unit Firmware version 3.010100 Map version 02.000400 Bluetooth version HW100-SW330 RC3 Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks. maxredline
Have you tried paring from the phone? Yes, all three methods listed in the manual, device search, device list and pairing. What I need is another Bluetooth phone that I can try. I did find a Avic phone comparability list buy my Samsung is not on it, see attachment. Pioneer_NavGate_BTCompatibiity_Parrot072008.pdf
TJamison
... I did find a Avic phone comparability list buy my Samsung is not on it, see attachment. Welcome to my world. Whenever I try to pair my phone to the AVIC it connects but immediately sends my phone into an endless cycle of turning off and back on. I know it's NOT my phone because it works perfectly with the SYNC system in FORD vehicles. Now I'm waiting for my two year contract to expire so I can get a phone that IS compatible.
