rkg Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 I just replaced my D2 with a used D3. On start up the unit request to "insert the appropriate disk". After inserting the disk you can hear the drive reading the disk. Then the Pioneer screen pops up. Then you can hear the drive starting again and the Pioneer screen goes away then reappears. It will do this several times never completing the start up. Sometimes a "DVD-Rom may have a problem" message will pop up. I have tried resetting the unit several times and once was able to get the unit to start, but the same message popped up soon after. Is this a CD problem or something else?
