Can anyone shed some light? Sounds like the CD drive is busted. You could try to clean the lens but you'd have to take the unit apart. Do NOT ( as in NEVER EVER ) use those " CD Head Clean Discs" with the little bristles on them, they really f*ck up the drive. If you do not trust yourself to do this, let an experienced guy do it or spend a lot of money on repairs by Pioneer themselves for a new drive. cliffyh Posted June 24, 2011 Report Share Posted June 24, 2011 I am having the same problem, but mine is with burnt dvds. It will not read any burnt dvds, will read dvd movie bought, as well as burnt cds, but wont read mp3 dvds or music video dvds, i have tried different formats, etc. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.
