IsLNdbOi
Anyone have any idea if the voice commands feature from the x920bt will ever be ported to the x930bt? If Pioneer won't do it could someone hack it to work on the x930bt?
VBLUE42
No and No.
IsLNdbOi
Why no to both? Does the voice command feature require hardware that the x930bt doesn't have?
ma_ttcald
If you want voice commands get a x920 then upgrade it with the x930 software. Thats what people are saying.
IsLNdbOi
I like the rotary volume control knob on the 930 and I still haven't received confirmation from Pioneer whether the x930bt has a faster processor than the x920bt.
VBLUE42
I confirmed it for you. Its not going to happen.
IsLNdbOi
Sorry, I'll believe what Pioneer tells me about these units.
ma_ttcald
Sorry, I'll believe what Pioneer tells me about these units. The x930 will NOT have voice commands, and the cpu will NOT be any faster. Is that too difficult for you to understand?
IsLNdbOi
Why would that be difficult for anyone to understand? It's that I won't believe it until it comes from the horse's mouth
VBLUE42
Then stop asking us! The answers to your questions have already been covered in this forum anyway. Maybe you need to start reading some of the threads that cover this topic.
IsLNdbOi
What's wrong with you? No one is forcing you to come into my threads and answer what I ask. Who's to say someone who actually does know won't read any of these threads and enlighten us? The attitude you're displaying here only turns people off from contributing. VBLUE42
I do know and I have provided you the answer. Its going to be really funny when Pioneer gives you the same answer. But be sure to let us know.
IsLNdbOi
Ok, so you know. Now what about the superior attitude and tone? That's not the way people with the "Moderator" title should be behaving towards users that are simply asking questions (even if the said moderator does not like the question). I hope you're not a moderator on any other forum. I wouldn't want other users to have to encounter your moderating, posting and attitude.

Vinzend
I talked to a pioneer dealer today. He said that the f930bt(europe) still has voice commands. You can still do: 'call + person name/number' or 'find closet poi'. These are VR or am i wrong? He showed me in the x930bt manual, page 166/208 "Operating your navigation system with voice"
