Just have a quick question before I install my X920BT in my '10 Xterra S model...

For the reverse signal wire, is it safe to run it to the rear taillight and patch it into the positive lead on the reverse light? I figure this route would be easier than trying to tear apart center console and shifter assembly to multimeter and determine which wire on shifter is the reverse wire there. I just don't want to short the system.

I will be installing a reverse camera with my system and was also going to patch it into the positive lead of reverse light, but just on the opposite taillight that I use for the headunit reverse wire. Figure this way the load will be balanced across the two.

Thanks for the help!
