OhShift Posted April 23, 2011 Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 Just got a 700bt from a friend of mine and he told me I should update it. Got an update off this site with instructions on how too. I understand them fully but my issue comes when I try to select upgrade WinCE. After I punch in the button sequence, UP UP DOWN MENU LEFT RIGHT and get to the menu 0-5 and 0 being WinCE I cannot navigate between the options or select them. If I continue to hold the volume knob down after I put in the sequence it let's me change from the options but does not let me select one. I figure I am probably retarded but I have search for the past hour and tried every button combo sequence and even hooked up a keyboard to the USB port to see if the up down arrows would let me select them ... OhShift Posted April 23, 2011 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 Well I guess I am retarded... kinda According to the instructions it said to leave your SD Card in while punching in the sequence. Instead I pulled it out and and did the steps. Took me to where it says format with SD or usb. I hit exit and it took me to the screen to update wince and let me select all my options and update the image. Hope this helps someone else with this issue. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
whalepirot Posted April 26, 2011 Report Share Posted April 26, 2011 Not sure it it will apply, but on the F500BT, select the option by holding down the RESET button.
