My avic Posted May 9, 2011 Report Share Posted May 9, 2011 Ok I bought a D3 years ago. Love the system alot. I had engine work done to my truck. The shop disconnected the battery for 3 days while doing the work. Problem is when I started my truck a security question pops up. " What was the make of your first car". I never set this question up.I called the shop that instoled the system. They said they don't set security questions on new systems. I called Pioneer and of course it's out of warrenty and it will cost $200.00 to "re flash" it. Any ideas? I understand the security stuff but as a Pioneers owner, can't they try to help.
