dolfan058 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 Hey all. I'm in the market for am in-dash nav, and naturally I'm between the Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT and the Kenwood DNX9980HD. I've been researching online extensively for reviews, pros/cons, etc. I'd go check them out in person, but I live in Gainesville FL, and I can't find any dealers that stock them, so I'd have to purchase online. I found a youtube video online giving a general overview of the DNX9980HD, and I'm definitely not a fan of the GUI or the slow processor, but I haven't been able to find any videos going through the features of the AVIC-Z130BT (besides the one posted by Pioneer on their site). I was wondering if any of you owners wouldn't mind posting a vid going through the features? I wanted to see how fast the load-up time is, how much better the GUI is compared to the Kenwood, and just how bad the Nav really is? I'm also wondering if for the kind of money I'd pay for an in-dash nav like this, if maybe I should just wait till next year to see if something better comes out? If I'm going to shell out over a grand for a head unit, it should be the best, and not rife with the problems these current units seem to have. Thanks! p.s.
