Pioneer IPOD Cable Question

no this is not relevant to the do I have the correct cable thread

 

I have the correct cable but it is hardly the length I need it to be will these links below suffice as extentions so i am able to run the cable to my center console?

 

one is a 3.5 mm 4 pole av extension cable and the other a regular usb male to female extension cable

Probably. No one can say for sure unless they also tried that A/V cable. The connectors look right. If it doesn't have proper shielding, it might pick up some noise or cause intermitant control problems.

 

BTW I store my ipod in a storage compartment at the rear of my center console with the stock Pioneer dongle + ipod cable, and still had extra to cable to tuck/hide. But I guess it would depend on how high the HU mounts in your dash. The longer the cable, the more chance you will get quality degradation.
