remi-357
hello everyone, this is my first post. I used to drive a 2004 avalanche with a p3200bt and a aswc. there was no lag what so ever. I traded in my 04 avalanche for a 07 avalanche. I also upgraded to a x910bt. im using the same aswc in the 07. it works fine with the controls and everything just the lag is terrible. It is almost a full 1-2 seconds before the x910bt responds to a button touch on the steering wheel. is there anyway to fix this? it is very annoying. thank you
johnwill
Try a Scosche adapter instead of the Metra ASWC
ramman949
I have zero lag with my metra ASWC?
johnwill
Whoops! Yes you right. I had it backwards. I do have the Metra AXXESS one, which has no lag and it works great in my 2010 F-150. I was wrong in saying try the Scosche - the Scosche has the lag, for some. Sorry for being a cyclops.
1loudls
well it either has to do with the newer avic taking longer to process the controls, or that the newer avalanche uses CAN system to deliver controls and it takes the ASWC a small amount of time to decode the can signal before sending to the radio. either way, i doubt that there is anything that can be done to make it any better since you have it working before with no lag with a different radio, and he has it working with the same radio and no lag, im leaning toward the CAN conversion
