  1. If I can read your post correctly . . . I have always had the same problem, even after many thousand miles. Mine too has a lag. Not a time lag where it catches up. But a location offset. My actual location is always a little further along than what shows on the GPS. Even if I stop, so it is not just a catching up lag problem. Thanks
  2. You could do this in 30 minutes ?
  3. I use iPhone 4 and ProClip too, on 2010 F-150. ProClip is top cost, but top shelf stuffs. Highly recommend.
  4. With all due respect, don't waste your money for any cam <$50, new or used. You will regret buying and installing something that is junk.

For the X920BT at least, I saw how to do this in the owner's manual. It is part of a setting that you turned on that tells you, for instance, when you employ a jackrabbit start. Yes, turn that sucker off.
  6. Glad it is working. I have no problems running video from iPhone with 4.3.3 to the X920BT.
  7. Whoops! Yes you right. I had it backwards. I do have the Metra AXXESS one, which has no lag and it works great in my 2010 F-150. I was wrong in saying try the Scosche - the Scosche has the lag, for some. Sorry for being a cyclops.
  8. Try a Scosche adapter instead of the Metra ASWC
  9. This is as has been foreseen by VBLUE42 earlier above. Good luck with the replacement unit, I am curious.
  10. Your last sentence is probably true. Bring it back to them.
  11. For one thing, you should have at least one bar to the right of cell tower icon. With the connection status screen live, try moving your antenna around, with metal plate under it, and see what happens. Wait a few seconds in each placement for the connection info to catch up and update (the bars I am talking about).
  12. Despite the antenna tower icon being lit up, and the number of satellites listed, you should still show one, two or three bars lit up to the right of the antenna tower icon. As vblue says, something must be defective. Or the hookup of the antenna cable.
  13. What does the Connection Status screen (tower, bars, satellites icons etc) show?
  14. Is that thin metal plate under the antenna? Good pic.
