bcd1
Wow! What a difference using the Navtraffic Xm unit with the N3 head and brain............. Icon for every station with a small icon for catagory. Unbelievable, such a difference with the N3. But I am having a slight freezing problem when navigating but I'm sure that will be solved. Anyway........ just talking out loud wanted everyone to know what a difference a N3 makes. bcd1
SigForLife
Not sure that all of that is just the "n3." From my understanding, the N2 has most if not all fo these features if you merely do the software update that comes with the n3...aka it is on the nav disks...
bcd1
Sigforlife, I was running a N1 head unit with the N2 brain updated with the N3 software and the 60mp had nothing to do with the way xm with navtraf hideaway looked on the screen. Been there, did that and not true my friend. bcd1
SigForLife
That's disappointing...everything I read was the opposite. I have an N2 and my father just got an N3. I really love how all the XM info is diplayed on the screen, and I figured an update would be the fix...now I am depressed
cntrylvr79
You'll need an n3 brain to boot. The bonus of that is you'll also get the enhanced Ipod control as well.
SigForLife
Yeah, don;t really care about the Ipod...I wonder if it would be more cost efficient to send it to the guy on ebay to have it modified.
