HondaguyCJ Posted July 20, 2011 Report Share Posted July 20, 2011 Me and my fried recently installed a AVH-3300BT in my 04 Honda CR-V. The instillation went well. The device will play properly until I turn my headlights on. The minute they come on, the music stops. The display remains on but deathly silence in the car. When I flick the light toggle from on to off, brief sounds can be heard from the music that should be playing. We tried disconnecting certain wires and what not but no solution was found. barney stinson Posted July 29, 2011 Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 try grounding the radio straight to the chassis instead of the harness. i had to do that to mine after I installed a bi-xenon projector retrofit in my headlights. the radio did not like the initial power draw that the xenons demanded.
