brokenavic
ok. This deck is about to become a flying object. Does anyone have a viable link to download a fix for my stupid avic f90bt constantly rebooting. Everywhere I have looked on this forum. It no longers works or the link is no longer valid. HELP! Harvey_Gordon
A constant reboot could be a voltage problem. This unit is very voltage sensitive. I ran a heavier gauge wire directly from the battery to the YELLOW wire of the Avic. There have been no reboots since. Just a thought. Hope it helps. hg

Ive had this deck since 2007. I will try that and see if works. What gauge wire did you use and is the yellow wire in a connector.
Harvey_Gordon
I don't know your setup, but the yellow wire will go directly into the Avic. The red does also, but is switched through the key. Don't use this one. I used a 12 guage, but I think it might be overkill. I just wasn't taking chances after going under the hood and dash. Again, good luck. hg

Harvey_Gordon
Again, this is only a suggestion. I can't guarantee anything. I had to do a 'flash disk' reflash one time a year or more ago. You will need a copy of the working 'flash disk' (hopefully you made a backup when all was well), and I totally deleted the file "My Flash Disk" and reinstalled the original. No probs since. Only a thought, but hope it helps your situation. hg
