dimon_baku
Did anybody tried to load f930bt firmware to x930bt unit?
sirmaxworld
I'm wondering about the same thing. Can you simply copy over a full image of a F930bt ---> X930bt? If anybody has a F930bt I would really appreciate a full backup file, so that I could try copying it over to the X930bt unit.

dimon_baku
Guys, does anybody have backup from f930? I did load update file for F930 to my x930 via testmode. Update was successful, but nothing was changed on the unit. I tried to find easiest way to make fm tuner working in Europe.

Gene123
Hey guys!! Don't be so shy! Hi Dimon! The difference in the FM USA-grid FM band 0.2 instead of 0.1 as in Europe. In USA, the radio should be spaced at 10 kHz in the AM band and 200 kHz in the FM band. In Europe, at 9 kHz and 50 kHz respectively. Therefore, the signal radio frequency broadcast which falls into the interval of 200 kHz (even frequency) is taken ill or is not accepted at all. If you can translate from Russian about http://monitor.net.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95960 But how to get the X930 bt work in Russia? I understand that no one sure the GPS has not achieved. salmanilla
I managed to Brick my X930BT... Thankfully - I followed the instructions and backed-up! I was able to restore and get the system back working! All I am trying to accomplish is to get rid of the Nag Screen on the GPS after booting. Can ANYONE suggest the best way to make that happen? Ralpharn
As far as I understand, software inside X930BT and F930BT is identical. At least USER folder. Difference is inside NDATA folder - we have different maps. BUT according to service manual we have different chips PEG745A8 or PEG747A8 on circuit board as well as resistors that define region. One guy in Russia even resoldered resistors according to different region but even radio friquency hasn't changed so I think main thing that defines region in our devices is PEG745A8/PEG747A8 chip. I deleted part of my user folder on accident. Any chance you know where i can get a copy of the 930 user folder? As of now my X930 is dead.
