Once I arrived home I activated the Sat radio and then wanted to get into the setting to make some changes. I'm not able to access any of the menus - not for the Nav, BT or Audio. Am I correct in my thinking that they may have made an error and that the deck isn't seeing the truck in park? Vehicle in question is a 2008 GMC Sierra. Any input is appreciated. Thanks. ThumperPup Posted November 1, 2011 Report Share Posted November 1, 2011 very good chances the installer did not hook up the Parking Brake properly and that is whats going on first thing in the AM i would call and notify them or better yet drive there and let them know you think they did not hook it up properly that way they cant tell you on the phone they have no time now Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It was incorrectly hooked up to the wrong wire. Their intention was to hook it up to the parking brake. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
