ThumperPup Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 Ok i have looked but can't seem to find anything on it i know that from waht i have found there is no way to see on the screen if you are somewhere that you have no GPS Signal so i know go to navi settings and check out Connection status Menu now under GPS Settings i get its got like a cell phone bar tower that means how strong your signal is but what are the 2 next to it the Red Icon and Yellow Icon i asume those are satlite icons i think but what do they mean and does one always want to be stronger then the other ? thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
lbridges Posted November 2, 2011 Report Share Posted November 2, 2011 See page 150 in the manual: orange means the unit "sees" the satellite and is using in computing your position, yellow means it sees the satellite, but is not using it in computing the position -- or at leas that's what I read the words to mean.
