ty423
2000 Infiniti Q45 w/ bose system I just upgraded my HU from a D1 to a x930bt. When I was installing I noticed my infiniti harness had a solid blue wire and a blue/white wire. The x930bt has only a blue/white wire coming off of it for external amp OR powered antenna. So I connected all the wires together so the antenna goes up and the amp gets power. However no matter what the antenna is always up. Either in FM/AM/CD/MP3 whatever. Is there any way to control the antenna mast? On almost all my other HU it had it's own antenna wire and it would ONLY go up when listening to FM/AM and anything else it would go down. UGH... HELP! DoyleOil
not sure if there's a way to isolate power solely during radio play. Wired like that is probably your best bet if there isnt an independent wire for "power ant" from the HU. Hate the antenna that much? lol
1loudls
yup weak ass pioneer got rid of the separate antenna wire that power down when not in use on most if not all of there newer models. the worse part is that since there is no way to fully power down the radio, you have no way of lowering the antenna when going through car washes
