Bypassed the z130BT, but as soon as the car starts moving, it locks up.

I followed the new(er) instructions for bypassing the z130BT so the settings can be used while the vehichle is not in park. (mute wire -> Brake wire -> ground).

 

If I move into drive it still allowes me to use the setttings, however once I start driving, a message pops up saying that it detected invalid wiring, and the settings lock up. Whenever I come to a stop it starts working again (even if I stay in drive).

 

 

Any suggestions?

99% of the time a failed bypass is caused by the moved wire not fully seated in the harness socket - or the wire was damaged. The other 1% is caused by public education.
