Saab Driver
New to the boards, so first a "hello" to all. Only been lurking about a week and I'm finding a ton of great info here. My wife bought me an X930BT for Christmas and it's pretty much in and working. The parking brake hack is great, and Frank Wulfer's helped both here and at SaabWorld with the ground loop popping issue. My question to the room is why isn't the HU pulling from the mini SD card? I'm trying to load a graphic for the start up splash, and though it "sees" the file on the card when I go to load it, it will not load. File size is under 70 Mb, and it is a .jpg format. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. zx6rrdan
you say the file is under 70mb? that a huge JPG. Check the image resolution and if needed resize the image to the screen size 800x480 and try again...
cartman57
800x480 is the max size, save the image on a sd card in a file called 'pictures' there are a lot of custom startup screen images available on this site or use google to find whatever image you want in the correct size
Saab Driver
My mistake. 86 kb. I think I read that its supposed to be under 70 kb (not MB). It is indeed 800 x 480. I'll keep tinkering with it.
