800x480 is the max size, save the image on a sd card in a file called 'pictures' there are a lot of custom startup screen images available on this site or use google to find whatever image you want in the correct size

Can only answer on the 930 If it was last playing an mp3 on the sd card, I can hear where it left off while in the splash screen process(about 10-15seconds), after that you'll have the capability to change from the menu IF it wasn't on the GPS function, then you'll need to wait for the 'warning' to get past that then the main menu. I try to remember not to leave it on the GPS before turning the vehicle off. Steering wheel controls work to change to next, begining or previous track, depending how many time it's pressed. Same for am/fm. Not the most user friendly HU in my opinion. hope

First you'll need a wiring adapter and dash adapter: Metra http://metraonline.com/ Schosche http://www.scosche.com PAC http://www.pac-audio.com/SWI/ or Metra steering wheel interface adapter support from all of them is great traffic tuner, not worth the $$ IMHO hd tuner, never tried it but might camera choices are too many to list, most are waterproof and color, some have nightvision. get one that has the widest field of vision, purchased 2 from ebay seller for $15 each they're good enough for us. more $$$ doesn't mean better read the instructions a few times to make sur

blue/white wire on the black HU power plug will turn on the amp, also called system remote control. hope it helps
