kentuckyjelly
So I installed my rear view camera and got it to function correctly, However i am getting a bad picture once the X930BT boots up. While the unit is booting up, the camera picture is actually very clear, but once the unit boots the picture becomes slightly distorted and fuzzy. Any clue what this might be? JasonH
Most likely electrical noise. Audio/Video cables should (idealy) be as far from power cables as possible. It's almost always noticible when running AV cables right next to a heavy gauge amp power wire.
kentuckyjelly
Interesting. I'll have to trace it down. I didn't run my Video cable next to the amp power wires... maybe the video cable i used was sub-par.
1loudls
you should try this with something else hooked up the camera input (like a dvd player) and see if the problem continues. if the problem goes away, then the problem is probably with the video wiring picking up interference. if the problem continues, then you may have an issue with you avic, maybe something like a bad solder joint inside the unit that is either causing or picking up the interference.
