bigyouth Posted January 25, 2007 Report Share Posted January 25, 2007 Does anyone know how you can get the Z1 to play live cds that are broken up into tracks without a 2 sec the gap between each track. My cd works great on every other player including the Kenwood in my wife car, but in the Z1 there is a 2 sec pause between tracks, both on the cd and the HD, help Quote Link to post Share on other sites
jimmy303 Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 When it gets recorded to the HDD, the AVIC puts a pause between tracks. Try putting the cd into your home computer, record it as a .wav file, drag the file into the sound recorder, eliminate any gaps in the audio, then burn a disc with only one track. I do this with my mix cd's, but it makes for some cussing if your favorite song is 44 minutes into the track. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It just irks me though that I cannot event get the original mix cd to play in the avic as a cd not saved on the HD even though the cd plays in everything else. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
