kenneth Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 i cant find that wire,the only wire of those colors is for a speaker.my factory radio did have the auto volume, is there a way to test for the wire? do you know which of the 2 radio pins it would be in. There is a large one that holds the speaker wires and power and a smaller one that is not used for anything currently. the system is up and running just no VSS right now and the unit is suffering a few accuracy issues. -Ken Quote Link to post Share on other sites

jimmy303 Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 That gray/black shouldn't be a speaker wire, Ford usually doesn't use that color for a speaker wire. That should be your VSS. Do you have the factory rear entertainment package? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

kenneth Posted January 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted January 28, 2007 No rear audio, the grey and black wire goes to a speaker, i bought the direct connect harness,all the speakers work great,the small harness may be the steering wheel controls? any other ideas on the VSS?
