garrettoomey
The instruction are in the owner's manual. See my post (with attachment) in this thread: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/31377-gps-acting-wierd/
g35dev
The link you posted is for issues with GPS. I read the manual and the only think i found was how to delete 1 playlist at a time.
garrettoomey
I don't respond to questions without knowing the answers. Did you scroll all the way down to MY post (GARRETTOOMEY), last one on the first page with the attachment called "How to reset the Z.pdf", per my previous response? If so, you would have found the attachment is an extract from the owner's manual which describes the 4 different reset methods, and what is deleted with each reset method. A method 4 reset will delete all music tracks and playlists. It will also delete alot of other stuff, so be sure to read the extract.
g35dev
Thank you for the reply and link!! It will save me a lot of time. Earlier I scroll down and try to open the link but I got error message that’s the reason I was thinking it’s the wrong link. Now I realized that I was not logged in and that’s the reason i got the error message.

g35dev
One more question, from what I read I need to use option 4. If I clear all the data on the HDD will it affect the setup the previous owner did to bypass the navigation system and e-brake? Anything I need to look for or do after I erase all data from HDD? garrettoomey
It will not affect the bypass. After you erase all data, you will need to go though all the settings and reconfigure things like pair BT, backup camera, radio presets, amp turn on (if equiped), etc.
g35dev
Sounds like fun, thanks!
