Never get the pioneer logo when start up

So I have been posting and learning on here for sometime, my unit was froozen for 6months on the splash screen. Fixed it w a 30$ update from eBay.. However now that I have used test mode and the wince screen I wanted to see what else the unit can do hack wise.. I understand this falls kind of under that title but have to see this first... I'm guessing when you want to change the start up picture you copy over the pioneer logo or delete it and add the picture file of your choice. In my case I never get the pioneer logo, is this a sign that my system had been hacked in the past possibly causing my system to freeze? Thanks
