dphc13
I just got an App radio for Iphone, and is it normal for my music to cut off whenever I use the navigation? This seems like a major oversight... unless i'm doing something wrong? Thanks.
rsquared
Which nav app are you using? I use MotionX and it only interrupts my music when I'm using voice guidance. It fades the music, gives the voice command and then music fades back in afterwards.
dphc13
odd. I am also using MX and it shuts all music off (ipod, radio). I'm doing the 2.45 update right now maybe it will fix the problem? I also tried the standard google maps and it did the same thing.
ronsno
From your iPhone in MX there is a music button down near the bottaom, try using it.
medmondson
Also, under "Voice and Sound" in settings, there's some settings that might be useful.

If you're playing music (radio/ipod) and then you launch the appradio app (or any other app, like motionx), then it will automatically cut off the sound. After your app launches double click on the appradio's physical home button. It will bring up a menu on the left hand side of the screen. Click on the top icon in that menu and the sound will come back on (radio or ipod). Alternatively, as ronsno mentioned, you can control ipod music through the motion X app on the iphone screen. Click on the blue music icon at the bottom.
