ACHME
Just got my new Z140 installed but I'm having trouble getting my trusty 60GB ipod classic to work with it. I'm using a Pioneer CD-IU200V cable that works just fine with my iphone (although the connector doesn't stay in very well). Unfortunately, when I plug in my ipod (running the latest software version 1.2.1), I get the "Do not Disconnect" screen on the Ipod, but the Z140 doesn't recognize that its attached. Sometimes I get a message that the Ipod 'could not be authorized'. Any suggestions as to what might be going on here or what I might do differently to get my ipod up and running? VBLUE42
Using the right iPod cable as detailed in the manual might be a start.
VBLUE42
Your iPod is also not mentioned as tested and compatible. Thats also in the manual.
Grimlock
I am using the same iPod with my Z140 with no issues.
JasonH
They have different cables for a reason, it's not a conspiracy.
