tactasmoc
I have an avic-z110bt upgraded to 120 (I believe there is an upgrade to 130 as well which I plan to apply). I am getting an iphone and I had a couple of questions. 1. Does the 64GB version of the iPhone 4s work on the 110, 120 or 130? ... if not, does the 32GB version (I'm assuming at least this one does)? ... if so, which models? 2. According to Pioneer's 2011 iPod/iPhone compatability chart, the iPhone 4 (it does not signify 4s specifically) requires the CD-IU51V cable. I believe I have the CD-IU50V cable. Do I absolutely need the CD-IU51V to get this to work? Also, will I lose any functionality if I do not use the CD-IU51V cable? 3. Does the AVIC feeds app give me real time access to POI information VIA the head unit or do I ned to use the iphone to find it first? Thanks!
IdentityWithheld
The iPhone 4s 32GB works with the CD-UI50V. I used the same cable the entire time i had my z110, and I didn't notice any difference in functionality when I switched from an iPod Touch 1st gen to an iPhone 4s (other than speed of the device). The 4s is about 10 times faster than the 1st gen iPod Touch.
VBLUE42
1. There is no difference between capacities with iPhones. If the 32GB will work so will the 64GB. 3. The app works with the iPhone and creates a POI that can be accessed from the BT contacts of the head unit and navigate from there. Demos are on Youtube.
