EvanVanVan
Hi, as far as I've read the AppRadio2 doesn't support any XM antenna. What have AVIC411 users been doing instead? Using their phones and the XM app? or do you have an XM Onyx (or something similar) instead? Just curious, probably going to purchase one of these tonight and I realized it wasn't going to support XM natively. I've got an Android phone btw. Thanks
hockeymutt144
it all boils down to how good cell service is in ur area, if its good i would go with the app and same some money. if you live in an area were you constantly go in and out of 3g i would get the external unit. Also here's a lil trick on how to get xm for 20 bucks for 6 months or 30 for a year call up there cancellations department and tell them you want to sign up and what discounts are they currently running? EvanVanVan
Thanks for the reply, I paid for a lifetime subscription plan a long time ago I would like to use with it. Turns out they still charge you on top of the lifetime plan for mobile app access. Guess I'll be going with an external unit...
