I have a avh 1400

I can put a DVD in an watch it every feature works but I can't seem to get app mode working

I have music on my iPhone 4s

I tried YouTube my phone says connected to tv but nothing shows up while I am in app mode an motion x does not show up on my screen

I am using the regular iPhone charging cable it has worked for everything else

Could this definitely be my problem? I need the special cord? Just want to make sure before I drive 30 mins to get one

you will need a special cable its the CD-IU5V hope this helps you
