rborge
Hmmm. Somehow I thought that the Bluetooth update was different than that system update. I am running v2.003 and my bluetooth connection stinks ever since I upgraded my iPhone to IOS5. In this link for the map update, it lists a Bluetooth firmware update. Is that the same as the system update noted above? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Shop/Specials/CNSD-210FM thx Rick
HeavyBrewster
So, i have a Samsung S3 and i am wondering of someone could start a list of compatible apps for the firmware upgrade. I just wonder if google maps would work for navigation. That would kick ass.
rborge
My current versions: Platform Version - 2.000 Application Version - 2.003 Bluetooth Firmware Version - 3.11 Are these the latest?
HeavyBrewster
Why is no one answering my question. My hand was up.
mpopis
if you upgrade the 930bt you will have a 940bt and here are all the apps for it. i'm still trying to get my galaxy s2 to work with it??? http://www.pioneerel...ion/AVIC-X940BT click on the APPS button on the left side of the page
gman86
I was wondering if anyone has upgraded. If they did, does the Android phone work as seamlessly with pandora, and the music interface as the iPhone?
cafagna
I was wondering the same. I am also curious to make sure that the upgrade is for the x930BT. The instruction manual on the page, http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/WFS/Navteq-NavteqNorthAmerica-Site/en_US/-/USD/ViewStandardCatalog-Browse?CatalogCategoryID=BBIKCghBaMsAAAE5kJlgJAUD&ShowAllProducts=YES Only references F-Series. cafagna
One more question. Does anyone know what firmware number is included with the $120 update? It looks like 3.001 is available for free on the Pioneer website. Is this all that is needed to make it like the X940... besides the maps?
cafagna
I got the update and it worked well. As for those who hope for it to be leaked, I would not hold my breath. The code unlock feature that requires you to go to pioneer's website for an unlock code that involves you typing in the product number nd your radio identification number to generate an unlock code seems pretty sophisticated. gman86
So your android phone is compatible with the 930bt just like an iPhone? You can see album art, use pandora, etc...
cafagna
Yes. I just can't get the "advanced app mode" that I thought I read was available.
gman86
Great thanks for the update.
