Metallman56
Newbie to this site, not to the avic line up. bought my first avic n1 back in 04, and the upgraded to the n3 when it came out. sadly a few months ago my n3 was stolen. insurance coverd it, so i ended up finding anther n1 that looked pretty mint. after about 5 hours last night of rewiring what the thief had left behind i finally got the n1 working again. and having music back in my car is enough to leave me greatful. however, there is an issue with it. there are a lot of items greyed out. simple things like time is greyed out. well let me upload some pics i dont get it. after reading on here last night for about an hour i was able to find the trick where you hold the eject button and the reset button and reloaded software AND reset all settings i could. still greyed out thanks for the help in advance guys, for the first time in my avic ownership i'm stumped
garrettoomey
Check the N series forum for "bypass". To un-grey the buttons, you need to 1) vehicle stopped and parking brake set or 2) do the "bypass" for you unit. If you have other questions, your best bet is to post in the N series section.
