MTC214
So it looks like I will be taking my truck back to the shop that installed my z140 next week, but I'd like to see if yall had any thoughts on this case. I had the unit installed in a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD. They used the proper harnesses because I still retain all functionality (OnStar, the door chime through the head unit, etc) The first thing that does not work is the auto dim when I turn on the lights (this thing is bright at night! ) But it seems that a few button lights on my AC unit have now gone out. Also the volt meter in the dash is not reading the proper voltage output. I load tested the alternator and it is fine. For what it matters the truck has a 2 battery system. Any idea what could have caused these issues? Thanks!
loy
If it doesn't dim then the illumination isn't hooked up correctly or the feature is turned off on the unit. Maybe they forgot to plug in a wire behind teh ac controls? Could also be simply a blown fuse.
