MrCool Posted September 14, 2012 Report Share Posted September 14, 2012 Hey guys. Been a while since I've been on the site. I noticed that Pioneer has the 2012 upgrade out for purchase. I have a few questions I need help with. 1. Will the 2012 upgrade change the UI at all on a Z120 that was updated to FW3.0? 2. Can I simply purchase the 2012 upgrade from Pioneer and install it on my Z120 w/ FW3.0? 3. If so, which upgrade package do I purchase? The one for the Z120 or the Z130 since I basically have a Z130 since my Z120 has FW3.0? 4. Are any features or capability lost with the upgrade (ie cons) Any help you guys can provide is much appreciated. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
pionara Posted September 20, 2012 Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 the ui has only minor changes fixes. its basically the same thing. the big difference is the maps updates. You only need to buy the 2012 update. It should update your z120 to same as z140. They are all basically the same hw with minor changes. It's the software that makes them.
