The Apple lightning to HDMI adapter looks like it plugs into the iPhone 5, and the other end has an HDMI port and a female lightning port right next to it. From there the lightning to 30-pin adapter will need to be plugged into the first adapter, but it doesn't look like will physically fit. because the HDMI plug will be in the way. Unless there is an lightning-lightning extension cord, the two adapters do not appear to fit together. Plus that would be one ugly mess of adapters! I think it lies with Pioneer to come up with an adapter. I just hope that they actually are putting some of their resources on it. But that begs the question, why would Pioneer do that (from a business standpoint)? Would they pay a team of developers to engineer an adapter for an almost obsolete product, or do they just move on and make an AppRadio3? If they make an AR3, I am running the other way!
