I have the mute wire moved to the correct location but didn't plug the AV harness due to a lack of space. Ended up doing the "safe mode" mod and also removed the caution message. pionara Posted November 16, 2012 Report Share Posted November 16, 2012 that message sort of gets latched, and wont unlatch til you drive the unit without PKB wire grounded. I believe you can try resetting settings to default, and see if that gets rid of the message. If not, try a power-off (BUP and ACC) - you may be able to do by pulling radio fuse.
