I'm driving a 2006 passat with an e-brake and I've tried the combo 300x on off on again, with no luck. Maybe the HU wasn't installed correctly? Is it an e-brake thing? InstallerGuy1 Posted December 3, 2012 Report Share Posted December 3, 2012 It sounds like your parking brake wire on your radio might not actually be connected to your vehicles parking brake correctly. If you want to bypass it automatically every time you turn it on, microbypass has a bypass out already that does the whole Pioneer 2013 video lineup already. We use them in our shop, and it is definitely the easiest way to bypass the radio. It is a simple 3-wire connection at the back of the radio, and is pre-programmed, so you don't have to set it up or anything. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
