gte460z Posted December 7, 2012 Report Share Posted December 7, 2012 The speed sensor becomes extremely useful when in a city or tunnel where the nav can use it to estimate where you are better than using just the built in gyros. If you don't plan on being in a lot of tunnels or downtown NYC then leaving the speed sensor wire disconnected is fine. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
