So for F30BT, you will either have 3.xxx or 4.xxx version. 3.xxx = 2011 maps 4.xxx = 2012 maps Quote Link to post Share on other sites
aomega001 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 16, 2013 I have version 4 software which I updated with the update downloaded from on of your posts on this site. I have scrolled through a route which I take occasionally and the new road which has been there since the begining of 2012 and had been planned since 2010 stil does not exist. Obviously the mappers omitted this rather important road change in their mapping. I pressume they are selling old maps as new. pionara Posted January 17, 2013 Report Share Posted January 17, 2013 the maps were from teleatlas, but now from navteq starting with 2012. All of these map providers have websites where anyone can submit corrections/additions to pois, routes, streets, etc. They also collect their street/map data from various private and public sources. The map data is only good as the data they collect. If you submit some corrections, you might see it on the next yearly update. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
