JarradCUE84 Posted February 14, 2013 Report Share Posted February 14, 2013 Thinking about picking up the appradio2, but have a few questions I hope someone can answer. First off, my iPhone is a 4S with iOS 6.1.1 on it. Ultimately I would love to be able to plug in a thumb drive containing all of my music, and also be able to plug my phone into the radio when I want app connectivity, separately if necessary. I've been trying to get a good look at the iPhone connection cable in pictures on pioneers site and crutchfield, but the way the cable is rolled up it's not very clear. On the supplied cable, if I am not plugging my phone in, can I put a thumb drive into the cable and access music stored on it? If that is not possible, can I run a thumb drive into a USB----->HDMI cable, and have the radio see the thumb drive as a source located on the HDMI port? Any thoughts appreciated.
