So what happens is when i put the NAVi disc In.. and go on NAVI MENU.. The only OPTION i can choose is RETURN HOME and GO TO the other ones are not selectable. I cant do adress search or anything. cntrylvr79 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Share Posted February 11, 2007 Since you've updated the n1 to the n2 software, the green wire being hooked up to the black wire will not work anymore. The lockout bypass for an n1 with n2 software is floating around here somewhere you'll have to search. Then do that. In the mean time what you can do is cut the green wire in half and put a toggle switch on it. You'll have to turn the switch off and then back on after the avic boots in order to do anything. They made it harder to do stuff while you're moving with the newer versions and yours was bypassed to work with the original software, not the newer stuff but thats sreally weird because it was always working and suddenly it jus stoped :S but i shall take it in and tell a installer to take a look Quote Link to post Share on other sites
underworlddon Posted February 12, 2007 Author Report Share Posted February 12, 2007 noo it was alwyas workin witht he new software.. i took it to best buy to chek out my amp and they took out the deckk and after that it stoped working u think somethign might have Gone wrong there.. and how is the wiring supose to be so it works??
