I have a Z110BT without a Traffic mod. I live in SoCal, so traffic is important to me.
How will the TMC-10 make my 110 work better? (It's updated with the 2012 firmware, so I guess it's like a 940 now - whatever that means).
If I get the TMC and have it installed - will it integrate with the NAVI to change the suggested route, based on traffic ahead? Or does it only show traffic when I go to the traffic screen?
If the latter, I can get live traffic on my iPhone and iPad, using Google or Bing Maps - no need to spend the money on the TMC for that. If, however, the NAVI will integrate traffic onto the map and route around the trouble zones, then it's WELL worth whatever it costs.
Does anybody have a TMC10 and know the answer to this question?
